The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would round things out once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you deposit.
